A few thoughts, since it's late and I'm near dead tired.
A: Where the hell was that McCain a few weeks ago? Brilliant concession speech. Delivered beautifully. It's a shame his crowd was filled with such schmucks.
B: Barack's speech was beyond incredible. I have personally never witnessed oratory like that. He's certainly set the bar very, very high for himself.
C: I remarked to Meg earlier that I've witnessed my share of historic moments - but this is the first TRULY positive historic moment that I've been around for since the fall of communism.
D: I thought before that this was kind of a big deal to African Americans - if Obama could win, that is... I didn't realize that it really was THAT BIG. To see Jesse Jackson with real tears in a crowd, to hear a prominent african american senator on MSNBC become speechless... it's really that huge.
This... is wild.
